What does it take to win?

Is winning everything?

Yes, especially when you know thhhhaaaat close to the win.

All the bullshit of how its the process that counts is really just the consolation. Although I truly believe that the journey you take to deliver a piece of work is an important part of the experience, but not really delivering it home... also means that there's a loophole/ blemish/ or whatever you wanna call it, in that entire journey.

Somewhere in the midst of getting there, you lost it somehow... although you know you've lost it, you can't get it back for a variety of different reasons. The most often one: You didn't push it hard enough. Even though you've identified what it takes to win, you did not see it through to fulfill that potential... you didn't push it hard enough.

It was a tough lesson. Considering its the 2nd lost, it was an even harder lesson. Even though it was a really good piece of work, it was not stunning. It lack that WOW element.

That what it takes to win.

So no more 'on hindsight' next time, I'm going all out to WIN it.
