If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and you could take just one object, you should probably make it a ship. Just make sure you stock it first with your media opiates of choice, becuase AVIs, MPEG-4s, WMVs, MP3s, JPGs and the like will be hard to come by in your new neighborhood. You can even record video to the AV700 directly from TV - while you're still here in the civilized world, that is.

Oh, and if you can take a third item? We recommend a generator of some sort. The battery only lasts 4 hours for video playback or 30 for audio, so without a power source, the only use you'll get out of the AV700 will be as a blunt instrument to crack open shellfish.
