WWWoundup: Super YouTubesday
Yeah, yeah, it's election day, and the WWWoundup encourages all citizens to do their civic duty. But I have a feeling you've seen enough political junk on TV to last Methuselah a lifetime, so my only nod to governmental affairs today: Schoolhouse Rock's "How A Bill Becomes A Law" and the parody from The Simpsons, "An Amendment To Be".
Now, on to lighter fare, like this amply-girthed gentleman falling off of a moped and these would-be models tricked into kissing monkeys.
In music news, Guitar Hero 2 hits stores today, so let's look and listen to this shredding rendition of Motorhead's "Ace of Spades" from the original game. At the recent CMA Awards, Faith Hill wasn't too happy about losing the Female Vocalist of the Year award. Personally, I'm more into these vintage Scopitones clips. And if you really hate music, make sure you check out Princess Leia's big musical number from the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special. See you guys tomorrow, when the morning will dawn on a world blissfully free of campaign commercials.
Four O'Clock Flash: It's nothin' but a G-force thang with Orbit. You know the story: player releases comet, comet crashes into planetoid, player releases comet again, comet crashes into planetoid again, eventually player finds the right combination of angle and force, comet coasts unmolested along the gravity fields of the various planetoids, player levels up happily ever after.
