Northwestern Bell Dual Handset 2.4Ghz Bluetooth Phone

Hello?

Hey Trevor, it's Scott. Guess what?

Uh, I don't know. You asked out that girl who works at Coffee Cavern?

No, no, I'm still waiting for the right moment. Anyway, dude, check this out: I'm calling you right now on a Bluetooth phone!

Oh, cool, you got a new phone. About time. Does it do video?

No, it's not a cell phone, dude, it's a Northwestern Bell Dual Handset 2.4Ghz Bluetooth Phone. It's got a digital 2.4GHz Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum signal, a thumb wheel to use all these scrolling screen menus, a programmable alarm, and all kinds of other functions, too: intercom, conference-calling, different ringtones, all that crap. You can even transfer calls from one handset to the next. It's pretty killer.

So what does Bluetooth have to do with it? Like, how does it use Bluetooth?

Well, it says you can remotely share voice and data with other Bluetooth devices, like PCs, headsets, and PDAs.

But why? Like, what's the point?

Because it's Bluetooth, man! Jeez! You're totally killing my buzz!

Uh, yeah. Listen, I gotta go.

What are you doing? You wanna get together and paint some miniatures?

Nah, I think I'm going down to Coffee Cavern. There's somebody I need to talk to. Later.

Hey, wait a minute! What do you mean? Hello? Trevor?...Hello?
